Ever since the English period the double areas of Tirunelveli and Palayamkottai, intersected by the evergreen Thamirabarani Stream, have been great centers of College. The Tirunelveli region has a significant Islamic inhabitants which sensed the need for an organization of college. Due to the devoted and honest initiatives of the Islamic top level, a Higher education and learning of arts and sciences, known as after the mentioned Persia pupil Sadakathullah Appa, was started in 1971.
Additional assessments will be held for final season regular students who have showed up and unsuccessful in any of the term concept documents and have only one paper for finishing his / her degree. The controller's office will post the schedules and fees for the supplementary evaluation after the results are released.
Special Additional assessments in practicals are also performed every season. Only undergraduate with 75% presence in realistic and having the predetermined CIA lowest in realistic, but have did not secure the passing lowest level in the Semester Examinations in realistic can take these assessments.
A undergraduate must meet the entire expenses suffered in connection with the perform of Unique Additional Examination in realistic.
The medium of instruction in all UG and PG courses is English and students shall write the CIA and semester examination in English.
Distribution of marks for CIA and semester Exams. Under Graduate Courses
1. Two tests will be conducted for CIA and the average will be taken. The first test will be based on 2.5 units of the syllabus and the second test will be based on the remaining 2.5 units of the syallabus
2. One assignment for Under Graduate Courses and one assignment or seminar for Post Graduate Courses.
3. Two practical examinations will be conducted in the even semester and average will be taken.
Question Paper pattern for CIA and Semester Examinations (Theory) (UG & PG)
Duration : 3 Hrs Maximum Marks : 75
The question paper consists of Part A , Part B and Part C.
All Questions are compulsory.
While preparing question paper, equal importance should be given to all the units.
Part A (10 X 1 = 10 ) - 10 Questions - objective type. (for UG) - One word answers (for PG)
Part B ( 5 X 4 = 20 ) - 5 Questions - either or type.
PartC ( 5 X 9= 45) - 5 Questions - either or type.
